What is the Cheese Train and what route does it follow?

Whether mild or strong, creamy or hard – the Swiss love eating good cheese. The Cheese Train explores the most well loved of all dairy products. Each winter, a special train takes passengers along the Pays-d’Enhaut route to Château-d’Oex. Once there, guests experience up close how the delicious hard cheese is made from 200 litres of organic milk over an open fire. It goes without saying that this is then followed by a tasty fondue.

The Cheese Train runs every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from January to April.
