Are there discounts for families?

Yes, with the free Swiss Family Card. You can order this together with any Swiss Travel System ticket. Children between 6 and 16 years of age accompanied by at least one parent travel free of charge. You can order the family card online or request it from any major station in Switzerland. Children under the age of six do not need a ticket.

And of course, children who are not accompanied by their parents receive a 50% discount on the Swiss Travel System’s range of travel passes.
