Can I use euros to pay in Switzerland?

All major department stores, many shops, businesses, hotels, restaurants and souvenir shops accept euros as payment. However, your change will be given in Swiss francs. We advise you to withdraw Swiss francs at a bank ATM or to pay with an EC card or credit card.
