What is the Chocolate Train, and which route does it follow?

The Chocolate Train is a first-class experience that will take you to from Montreux to the “La Maison du Gruyère” show dairy. There, you can learn all about the world-famous Gruyère cheese, the history of which dates back to 1115. Then visit the mediaeval town of Gruyères and its castle. At “Maison Cailler”, the final highlight awaits: immerse yourself in the history of chocolate and sample sweet temptations.

The Chocolate Train runs daily in July and August, Monday to Thursday from May until June, and on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from September until October.
