The Jungfraujoch can only be reached by train – departing from the Kleine Scheidegg station. You can get here from Interlaken Ost, travelling via either Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald. Once you get to the top, you’ll find not only Europe’s highest mountain railway station (3,545 metres above sea level), but also the UNESCO World Heritage site “Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch”.
It’s advisable to reserve a seat so as to avoid long waiting times. You can travel up to the Jungfraujoch on 365 days of every year. From Interlaken, it takes around 2 hours.
